Diane Wran-Farris joined LC in 1999.
Diane hails from Neptune, New Jersey and has sung and participated in many
local theater groups. Her beautiful voice continues to grace many of the
songs in Local Commotion's a cappella group, Sister Friend. She is
a member of the National
Council of Negro Women, and a board member of both Dunbar
Repertory Company and Brookdale
College Foundation Committee. Diane holds a B.A. in Psychology and a
Masters of Arts in Education.

PERFORMING PALS

Lorraine Stone joined Local Commotion's roster in 2002. She is a performance poet residing in Eatontown, New Jersey. Her one-woman show debuted in Asbury Park in 1998. Lorraine now performs her own interpretation of Sojourner Truth for Local Commotion. She has a B.A. in Communications Arts and Sciences. You can often see Lorraine playing in the wonderful group M'Zumé, or on stage in a Dunbar Repertory Company production.
Kati has forged great and harmonious friendships with two wonderful performers, Diane Wran-Farris and Lorraine Stone. Together their spirited portrayal of American heroines inspire every audience.
